Hi All

Does anyone have any experience of TMJ not starting on a Sony Ericsson C905? It's a bit random and only happens if I have already run TMJ at least once since last restarting the phone. It does not show as already running, but just doesn't start when you select it. Restarting the 'phone always fixes it, and it may run 3 or 4 times before I have to restart, or it may be just once.

It doesn't ever happen on Nokia N95, and has always happened on SE C905 since I've been using it (so not new in the latest version). It is the only app that does this, but it's also the only 'phone it does it on (of the few I have run it on anyway).

As I say, it's always happened on this 'phone so not a major issue for me, but I thought I'd mention it as I've just updated the firmware and the problem didn't go away. The event log gives no clues, as it seems to be overwritten each time it starts (and I think it's probably a closing issue not an opening issue because it always starts at least once).

Hmm - seem to have rambled on a bit there - sorry.

Hi Paul,

I'm tempted to say its 'just one of those things', but it must be a bit irritating when it happens. I'm not sure there's much I can do to debug this, but have you noticed any pattern as to whether it might be related to having the web upload enabled? A possibility might be if the phone is in the middle of a web transmit/receive cycle when you exit the program, perhaps this isn't closing properly making the phone think that some components are still running... If you do see any pattern to this, perhaps ensure that you Disable Web and check that the 'Sent/Received/Failed' field has stopped incrementing, before exiting...?

Cheers,
Stephen
