first my compliments for the geofences. I had the opportunity to have a sneak preview, and I'm impressed. Would it be possible to see the size of the geofence you're working on by displaying a circle on the map?

Yes, though it relates to my answer to the other thread - I need to add this to both versions of the map, so its a bit more fiddly to do (otherwise I'd have already done it!! ;-)

I'm also considering using http://mapstraction.com/ which should ease these problems, but will still initially require a complete rewrite of the website mapping code...!
